On the evening of August 2nd, the 2025 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Intangible Cultural Heritage Brand Event was held at the Bai'etan Greater Bay Area Art Center in Guangzhou. The event showcased innovative practices in ICH preservation across the region. Through digital displays and gamified experiences, ICH is reaching wider audiences than ever before.

China's first cross-genre variety show that blends anime IP with ICH, titled IP China Tour, was recently launched. In the program, the popular character GG Bond guides viewers on an immersive journey through Shantou's local ICH and cuisine, highlighting the creative potential of combining animated IP with traditional Chinese culture.

Guangzhou Cultural & Arts Center recently unveiled its large-scale VR zone, "The Telescope," where visitors can travel back to the Southern Song Dynasty through the VR project "Splendor of the Song Dynasty: A Hero's Tale". There, they can try their hand at sugar painting and fire-spitting in a fully immersive environment.

The permanent exhibition,Flowers Bloom in the City of Flowers –Guangzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition, held at the Central Pavilion of the Guangzhou Cultural & Arts Center, features a giant digital screen titled Scroll of Seasonal Festivities. Visitors are transformed into digital avatars that enter the animated scroll to take part in traditional folk customs like the flower fair, dragon boat racing, and fire dragon dances.

In April this year, Shantou launched the first Yingge Dance AI Digital Experience Hall. In just three seconds, visitors can create personalized digital avatars dressed in traditional Yingge dance attire, complete with props like drumsticks and flags, using an AI digital human generation system.

An even more inspiring example comes from the "ICH + AI" Art Lab at the Foshan Chancheng Cultural Center. There, young participants, guided by paper-cutting masters, create traditional patterns which are then brought to life as animated paper-cut artworks using AI tools.

在广州市文化馆中心阁的常设展览《花城百花开——广州非物质文化遗产展》中，一块超大电子屏《岁时节庆轴图》，能让游客化身电子小人进入画卷中，参与行花街、扒龙舟、舞火龙等民俗。

今年4月，首个英歌舞AI数字体验馆落地汕头。游客通过AI数字人生成系统，3秒即可DIY身着英歌服饰、执槌擎旗的专属数字人形象。

佛山禅城区文化馆“非遗+AI”艺术实验室的案例更具启发性。青少年在剪纸传承人的指导下完成传统纹样剪裁后，利用AI工具将静态图案转化为动态剪纸动画。
